- Family: Lamiaceae / Labiatae
- Origin: Cultivated mainly in France, Spain, England and Tasmania
- Characteristics: Fresh, powerful, herbal, floral and sweet aroma. It is water white to pale yellow in colour and watery in viscosity.
- Blends well with: Bergamot, German & Roman Chamomile, Citronella, Clary sage, Geranium, Jasmine, lemon, Mandarin, Orange, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Pine, Thyme, Rosemary, Rosewood, Ylang-Ylang
- Common Uses:
- Lavender is helpful in the treatment of all types of pain such as headache, migraine, muscular pain, rheumatism, menstruation pain.
- It’s antiseptic properties make it ideal to use for treating coughs, cold, catarrh, asthma, sinus, flu as well as the treatment of wounds, ulcers, cystitis and catarrhal discharges
- Lavender has both a sedative and a tonic action on the heart. It will help lower bold pressure and ease nervous tension and palpitations.
- Lavender has great nerving sedative properties. It is useful for treating a variety of nervous and psychological disorders including depression, insomnia, nervous tension, hysteria.
- Lavender super excellent useful to alleviate stress. It helps by producing inner acceptance of a painful situation, easing fear and creating the strength that allows you to keep calm and carry on.

Precautions:
