2. Family: Lamiiaceae / Labiatae 
3. Origin: Spain
4. Characteristics: A fresh herbaceous, camphorous, slightly pinkie odour 
5. Blends well with:Cedarwood, Citronella, Eucalyptus, Juniper, Clary sage, Pine and Rosemary 
6. Common Uses:
   • It has excellent antiseptic, antispasmodic properties make it useful ass an inhalation for asthma, colds, coughs, fever and laryngitis. 
   • It has a beneficial effect on the female reproductive system and it regulates menstrual cycle, treat well with amenorrhoea and dysmenorrhoea
   • it helps relieve the muscular aches and pain, especially arthritis
   • Sage spanish also helps with headaches, nervous exhaustion and stress related conditions
