2. Family: Gramineae / Poaceae
3. Origin:  It originally was growing wild in India
4. Characteristics: Yellow, amber or reddish-brown colour with fresh grassy. It’s citrus scent and earthy undertone
5. Blends wells with: Basil, Bergamot, Cedarwood, Geranium, Lavender, Lemon, Niaouli, Palmarosa, Petitgrain, Rosemary, Tea tree
6. Common Uses: 

• Lemongrass is an excellent tonic for the body. It’s strong antiseptic properties prevent the spread of contagious diseases and assists recovery from illness, stimulant immunity
• Lemongrass has analgesic property, it has excellent effect for aching muscles, relieves pain, in the after-care of sports accidents, sprains, bruises
• Lemongrass invigorating properties stimulate, revive and energize. It’s useful for treating symptoms of jet lag, clearing the head and relieving fatigue.
• It used to tone the skin and recommended to clear acne and balance oily skin condition
